When God Calls....

So, here lately I feel that God has put on my heart to do something I believe I should of done a long time ago, so I'm going to become a nun...........

HAHA NOT!! :)

But, seriously He has put something on my heart & I am going to follow His wishes.

I am at home this weekend and boy do I have a busy weekend ahead of me! 1st of all, I have a birthday party to go to tomorrow! and then I have a lot of homework to do after that. Sunday, I am putting whatever creativity I have to use and taking pictures of my cousin and her 2 year old son, which made me realize I really want a REAL PHOTOGRAPHERS CAMERA!! Hint, hint, mom! But it will be an exciting weekend!

Also, this week has been a little rough for me and I have been kind of struggling with my relationship with God. I guess you can say I've been a little depressed and for no reason. But several times this week I have heard a song that has helped me a lot. It's amazing what God can do through that radio, but it's also amazing what God can do..period!

Fail

So, here lately I have been a little down.
So yesterday I messaged my good friend Kenzie and asked if she would meet me for coffee so I could vent and get advice. Like the nice lady she is, she agreed.

We met at All About Cha, a cute little coffee joint in Edmond, and told her what was on my mind and she gave me advice, not just any advice, but good advice.

I'm not going to lie, this past week, I have been forgeting to serve God and put Him first. After I realized I had been doing this..I WANTED TO SCREAM and I was so dissappointed in myself, so that's when good ole' Kenzie came into play. I belief God puts people like that in our lives so we can have someone to turn to when things get tough. I mean I have other friends to turn too but for someone reason God put Kenzie on my heart to talk to and I am sure glad He did! I couldn't ask for a better Kenzie Keck! :)

I Do

Oh, what a great day it's been.
I got to sleep in, for once.
& I went to a beautiful wedding and watched one of my friends walk down the isle and say I do. :)
(& i have to say it really makes me want to get married, but of course, I will let God's plan take it's course for my life.)

Here are a few things that make me happy:
- Weddings.
- New Notebooks.
- New Make-up.
- Watching movies.
- Sleeping In.
- Church.
- Talking to my parents on the phone. :)
(even better, talking to them in person)

11) My little cousin, Nataliee. (God truly sent me an angel.)

12) Road Trips.

13) Deep Conversation.

14) Getting new Bible tabs.

15) Getting mail.

16) Smiling faces.

17) Funny profile pictures on Facebook.

18) Getting a Test Review from my professors.

19) Going to the college class at Memorial Road on Wednesdays.

20) Following God and trying to be a better Christian (whole-heartedly). I have never felt something so freeing.

Interfering?? No.

This past week has been a very good God-filled week. I have have numerous conversations that have led me to truly think about God.

HE IS TRULY AN AMAZING GOD!

This week I have continually prayed for patience in an area I am personally struggling with.
One friend has told me "God helps those who helps themselves." & the other friend told me "Sometimes you have to meet God halfway." I had never actually thought about it that way. I always thought I should sit back and let God take care of everything because I didn't want to interfere with His plan, but not I am starting to think after hearing basically the same thing twice this week, that maybe I should start helping myself and meeting Him halfway. So, that is what I am going to do.

Wonderful God-filled weekend.

So, this weekend all my roommates went home and it was my weekend to not go home, so I quickly devised a plan. I invited all my girls over from OC and we have a weekend long sleepover.

I think this weekend all made us get closer and made us all realize who really is in control, God.
We had several good conversations regarding God and his amazing grace.

Hopefully, I can go into further detail sometime soon when I get the pictures from this weekend, but for now I just had to say that:

1) God is GREAT!
2) He has truly blessed me with some wonderful people in my life.
3) I am so privileged to serve Him.

My Labor Day Weekend.

So, I have to say that I really enjoyed labor day weekend. It was so nice to get away from OKLAHOMA. My family & I went down to good ole Lumberton, Texas to visit some family. We left Ryan at about 5:00 PM & spent forever on the road to arrive at Lumberton at about 1:00 AM. It was a long drive, needless to say. The Saturday that we were there we took a little trip down to GATOR COUNTRY.

It was pretty sweet to see some alligators up close. I even got to pet one.

Sunday, we went to church at a small little church but it was so nice to meet the people there.

After church, we corralled the group and we all headed down to Galveston to go to the beach. We spent the whole day there and got some pretty cool pictures.

It was one heck of a trip and I really had a great time.
